I remember to have read this long piece of poetry way back in 1990 as a part of my PG course curriculum. I could take my time to recapitulate my understanding. The spirit of solitude is is depicted in a very integrated way taking different and distinct facets in its fold. The poet's obedience to light provides real spark to the work! Great work by great Shelley!

Ah what a magnificent piece on solitude! Eloquence, thy name is Shelley.
This poem could be a book..it was quite long but very eloquent..I can see why it cemented his fame as a great poet.Shelly has long been a favorite poet of mine.I read his biography ARIEL many years ago..this poem is a masterpiece and deserves more than a ten...It's a worthwhile read..take your time and enjoy..
