Alas, A Monk Broke His Celibacy! Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Alas, A Monk Broke His Celibacy!

At last, a monk broke his celibacy
And confirmed that
A vehicle can't run
With one wheel.
He can't abstain himself
From sensual pleasure.
He exploded his ecstasy
After practicing thirty five years
Of celibacy, associated with purity.
Now he is in love with
A beautiful lady
Carrying flame of
Passion along with her.
A bond between two
In the context of
Pure Sensual relationship
Based on chastity,
One needs to be
Loyal to each other
For sensual pleasure.
He conceptualised himself
As a boundary of
Modern celibacy.
He questioned himself
Why does he deprive of
Such a heavenly pleasure.
No repentance he does feel
For violation of orthodox rules.
