What and whose 'truth and freedom' that should 'reign supreme over what is left of the land? ' And, pray tell, what is 'holy basil'? The poem seems to ramble over much terrain so that although one would hope to glean from it, one does get lost. Adeline

Nice, snappy poem assisted by alliteration and rhythms contrasting with traditional, contemplation evoking subject matter. nice poem.

The title of the poem draws the reader in and this finely penned poem holds the reader a willing captive to the very last line. A lovely smooth flow to this well expressed poem! Tfs.............

Lovely write, it's short but long on thought. The words float but, also serves purpose just like a painting. It does make one search the soul. I enjoyed so much.

Very nice. Rather simple on the surface, but subtle deeper aim. I like it very well.

Inner Beauty where everything is stored like musk deer we’re oblivious of… Here Poet Nivedita nicely painted [reminded also] that beauty and makes a commendable/acceptable-to-all prescription to free from drudgery of what we’re eaten-up…nice concept thanks Ma’am 10++
