Air Is A Refreshment, Lost Poem by james watkin

Air Is A Refreshment, Lost

Air is a refreshment, lost;
Once vivid tasted, poured
From vessels, lilium, and hyacinth vials.
Savoured once but now stored
Again in cellars of mould.
The sun will agitate
Its sugars again; Spring force
Corks to soft detonate.
