Dressing in purples and pinks and greens Exotic as rum and Cokes Living our lives with flash and style Ain't we colorful folks? Maya Angelou - the phenomenal woman who gives a powerful expression to both black, bad and bold.

Bad as the storm that leaps raging from the heavens Bringing the welcome rain Bad as the sun burning orange hot at midday Lifting the waters again. - - - - - - - - -Maya Angelou's words are always inspiring for the Black people.Black is beautiful.Who tells it is bad? It is as bad as the storm that brings to the earth the welcome rain or as bad as the Sun whose heat turns water into clouds.- -A powerful write, thanks for sharing.
