A Sisterhood Forged in Grace
A is for Amazed, how far we've come—
Since 2005, two hearts as one.
Not just friends, but soul-bound kin,
Accountable, growing deep within.
'Two are better than one, ' says the Word so true,
For when I fall, I'm lifted by you.
(Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10)
Prayer: Lord, thank You for this bond so rare,
For hands that hold and hearts that care.
I is for It's true, through every storm,
We've chosen love, when cold or warm.
Twenty years of laughter, tears—
Through darkest nights and brightest years.
'A friend loves at all times, ' heaven knew,
And in each trial, I've found You.
(Proverbs 17: 17)
Prayer: Father, thank You for this sacred tie,
That we may walk strong, side by side.
L is for Love, the root, the start—
That flows from God into our heart.
You've seen my seasons, every turn,
Through dreams fulfilled and lessons learned.
'We love because He first loved us, '
A bond unshaken, deep, robust.
(1 John 4: 19)
Prayer: God of love, may we always see
Your grace reflected in her and me.
E is for Everything, every word,
That draws us back to Christ our Lord.
Not just a place, but home we find—
In Him who formed our hearts and minds.
'In Him we live and move and be, '
Our truest home, our victory.
(Acts 17: 28)
Prayer: Lord, be the center, be the flame,
The source of joy that bears Your name.
E again, for Empathy and care,
For every burden we choose to share.
Encouragement flows in every line—
A friendship built by the Divine.
'Encourage each other and build up still, '
Together aligned with heaven's will.
(1 Thessalonians 5: 11)
Prayer: God, may our words lift and restore,
To love like You, and bless once more.
N is for Now—right here, today,
Gratitude rising in all we say.
We've walked this path, we've braved the tide,
With Jesus ever as our guide.
'Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, '
In every season, we've understood.
(Psalm 107: 1)
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for Aileen's light,
A beacon strong in darkest night.
To Aileen—
In you, I've found a sister,
A friend who reflects the heart of God.
May we walk on, hand in hand,
Until we meet Him face to face.
