Emily Bronte, one of my favorite poets, has written this gem of a poem in a musical language, verses follow each other so fluently and harmonically, rhyme is so natural and not forced, exactly like an artful piece where everything is poetically painted. Masterpiece I would call this poem, majestic, in the way it expresses everything she feels from dawn to night and dreams, where many times, many of us feel refuge and feel better. Perfection!

Blood-red he rose, and arrow-straight, His fierce beams struck my brow; The soul of Nature sprang elate, But mine sank sad and low! ..beautiful and very poetic.. tony

Emily Bronte, such a great novelist, expresses in this poem the need we all have to seek the stars and the dark of night sometimes, rather than the harsh searching light of the day.

was at peace, and drank your beams As they were life to me And revelled in my changeful dreams Nice to remember Like petrel on the sea
