A poem from over five years ago and for a Lyric Poet, those five years could have thr impact of a century because T-I-M-E is our worst enemy. As your poem details it tears down the things we build and celebrate and even before we are dust it turns what we create, what we love, what we were in our heyday into dust, so we must witness the futility of our endeavor and acknowledge TIME IS THE MASTER OF ALL. // All that remains for us is to echo Antigone's speech after the gods take her father into their realm:
AH, ZEUS! WHERE CAN I GO?
TOWARD WHAT HOPE NOW
WILL THE GOD-FORCE DRIVE ME?
