The sunflower must be impressive. Allen Ginsberg, who knew Blake's poetry well, also wrote 'Sunflower Sutra', which I think is better than Blake's 'Ah, Sunflower'.

William Blake was a mystic so this poem though short is very deep. It is not merely about time but about love in the highest sense. As the sunflower aspires to the sun (God) so too does the soul of Man aspire to satisfy and fulfil the desire for eternal love. In time we see that love can change but not so in eternity. According to Thomas Merton it is poem about a unity that Man aspires to.
Beautiful, sweet and powerful. When our times go by and the beauty fades away- we wounder in confusion; asking why? leave life to the fullest and have no regrets when you come of age.
A fabulous poem on Sun Flower by William Blake
