Quite an interesting cocktail of subject matter, opinions and feelings, in a style, all its very own. Amazing how it all comes together, even when we think it won't! Psychologically and literally fascinating, rich in context, certainly worth one reading and more. By the way, I go thru the coffee ritual too... not as vividly as you, but I think I understand.... Your originality and depth are.amazing and fascinating, well worth returning for, extremely long giving.
That's quite a comment; thank you. I imagine this poem might be more difficult to read than to write because it is a bit all over the place- but that is part of what it is about as a morning ritual. It's kind of just a cataloguing of what was running through my mind about how to approach reading a poem and it turned into writing one.
Your brain has avoided the rain that came down in the Sahara yesterday or was it never. With the weather it is like never and ever if you get my drift. Now I'm on to ice floes. O I must read another poem.
