Sage, Sage, age old sage
Written in history page by page
Spirit of the poet in
Feels the universal life within

Address to the souls of men
Points the way and leads again
Fused thoughts, emotions and will
Within the Godhead, now be still

Mystical worlds encased in bounds
The Heavenly voice still resounds
Dreams and aspirations in the soul
Through Christ are made one, a whole

So stage by stage the Word did build
Unto such mankind must yield
For in Jesus that life intuitive
The Way to go the Way to live
