Ahh..........sweet Charlie - never alone! You have lived much of your life, and now you are coasting on all the laurels that you so richly deserve. Life isn't over 'til the fat lady sings' - so I'd say you've got lots of adventures yet to pursue and enjoy. A touching, thought-provoking read, filled with personal contemplation. Linda :) xx

Full Circle...how all of us who are older begin to realize that we have come full circle in life, with the pleasures of the innocence of childhood come to us again. I love the peace/stress of youth/return to peace of this poem.

Your joie de vivre shines through each line of your perfect and jaunty rhyme, Charles! This is both touching and very well crafted.

A wonderful poem. A journey of life not misspent. There should be no lament. All those memories have made you the person you are today; a great poet. It is a beautiful day.
