Age And Wisdom Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Age And Wisdom

Seventy five, a good long stay,
Or eighty, if strong in every way.
Not fading, not broken, just life's gentle pace,
A natural rhythm, with time and with grace.

You've seen the world change, day by day,
Watched children blossom, find their way.
Choices made, futures unfurled,
A story unfolds for all the world.

The lines on your face, a map so clear,
Each wrinkle a tale, held ever so dear.
Joints may ache, a weary sigh,
But strength remains, reaching for the sky.

These are not failures, marks of despair,
But battles won, a life to share.
Storms weathered through, standing tall,
Wisdom you've gained, embracing all.
