Against Change, Anarchical Plumed Poem by james watkin

Against Change, Anarchical Plumed

Against Change, anarchical plumed
Are found what in balwarks, Time-worthy
Stood up to, as tenacious?
This wall - that rocks! Divides worlds;
Civilized and barbarous.

Against its abettors, storm-like
'Neath loutish waved banners and bleak
Pounds out its philosophy
Hold firm do our fine tastes; traits.
That side's bright good; blown godly.
