Revisiting this wonderful poem. One of my favorites. A virtue that we should all possess. The ripple effect of giving thanks is continuous giving. A wonderful offering that found its home in my heart.

That was wonderful to hear! ! ! To write something about our Creator and have someone hold it special in their heart- -there is absolutely no higher honor. Thank You, Rose Marie!

Flowing like a fountain and running over like a river is this thanks giving treat of a poem. Being thankful for the mundane manifestation of life is simple spectacular. This poem can change the world if its values are validated!

Thank you! ! ! There was a lot of pure joy behind the writing of this poem- a tremendous amount of thanksgiving going on for the blessings of the day. The Future is iffy so this family feels the joys of the Now and thanks God for each and every one. Bless you for joining in the Thanksgiving rain! ! !

Congratulations my dear friend Susan for the beautiful poem, visited several times by me, being picked as members POD. I am sorry to be here belated, I have never seen this day, twice rendered in my favour. I would have enjoyed the feeling the pleasure of greeting you on the special day. But it is about being lucky, which I have been never.

Subhas! There is no reason to be sorry- -you see I have written a new poem and you always jump immediately to it and read it and comment on it and make observations and give encouragement! ! You have always made me feel supported in my efforts. I know you wish you had seen it on that day but I am just as happy to share this honor with you today, my friend.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha.... since we are writers here, we all know how hard it is to stick to one word! ! ! Brevity is the hardest goal to reach! But since we love words, we enjoy taking as many out for a run as we can! Thank you, dear friend, for all the nice things you have said about me- you'te nice like that! ! ! A genuine lover of the word- -we can stand more genuine lovers of words around here.

We have umpteen reasons to be grateful in life. But sadly we fret over things that we do not have and life becomes one of complaints alone! Such people make themselves and others miserable! Here we find the poet so happy and grateful for the blessings she has got and makes special mention of certain things over which she is extremely grateful! Congratulations on this beautiful poem with a great message, chosen as the poem of the day! 10+++++++++++++++++++

It ia amazing how good I feel after walking through my life being thankful for what I see- -and highest on that list is my daughter's life against one deadly foe and my other daughter's life against a different deadly foe. Can't beat down blessings like that! ! ! Thank you for your supportive comments and those starry-eyed 10's! ! ! !

Susan, you've done it again! Another winning poem! And I can totally empathize with this one. I've been purging. Giving a lot away to churches, charities, friends and neighbours. And it feels GOOD! And my apartment is saying: Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! It's finally shaping up to where I want it. And I will have my own little space for meditation and prayer. The power of giving! And the power of receiving! Congratulations on a very well-deserved Poem Of The Day!

Giving is indeed a gateway to joy! ! ! Giving thanks, giving money, giving love, giving forgiveness, giving time. Thank you for your beautiful comment concerning the power received from doing God's will... and receiving space for a meditation and prayer area. ! ! !

Thank you Chinedu for these specific words- the rhythmic nature of this poem must be inherent in the style of the Ghazal because I normally not very rhythmical - if writing were dancing, I would have two left feet! ! Remain blessed, my friend.
