Hey Angel - Don't put yourself down - this is a great poem - full of emotion and genuine teen angst. It is very dynamic and a good poem to perform at a Poetry Festival - I will sure read it at my next one. We all fall in love Angel and when our love is spurned it is hard to bear however old or young we are. When it happens we lose our Happiness (V 1) our Peace (V 2) and our Light (V 3) . In the end we give up waiting (V 4) and try to run away (V 5) . However (V 6) we find it really hard to run away form our emotions. Verse Seven is very emotive. When we are young our relationships are transient and our dreams incomplete. We want to fly (V 8) but we are left behind on the ground. Verse Nine - NEVER SAY - NEVER AGAIN! ! ! ! I love it Angel - keep writing and you will get lots of positive comment. Love in Poetry - JOHN.
