Love is an overpowering emotion in the poet's heart and being away from the beloved it deepens more and more as the feeling that time's passing on becomes painful. It's very emotional and romantic.

Such sad longing - neither time nor distance can dull the intensity of true love's emotional hold on us. So bittersweet - as they say, 'it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all', but that doesn't take away the pain. Strong, powerful and well done! Linda
