'Why did I stop? Did some instinct discern a shape, the artist in me intervening to stop traffic, as it were? ' - Love the imagination. 'my brush hand moved side to side far from the canvas, side to side, like a windshield wiper' - an excellent depiction. 'And the desert answers your voice is sand scattered in wind' - the best two lines of the poem. .

The poem 'Afterword' by Louise Gluck, is a brilliantly written introspection, an extended artistic examination of inner conscious thoughts and feelings. " In psychology, the process of introspection relies on the observation of one's mental state, while in a spiritual context it may refer to the examination of one's soul."

Hearing about death of little cat we feel so sad. Emotion sparks and song goes away. Tear comes out and we feel. Sun says yes, because sun knows that spirit never dies. There will be incarnation of conscious energy. Voice has left marks on sand and in waves. There will be rising from death through re-incarnation. An amazing poem is brilliantly penned with excellent expression.

Thoughts amazingly float in mind and generated continuously. Whenever we write these on a piece of paper, then we see valuable visible writings. Reading these we become emotional. Difficult changes we face and realize the truth in nature. If door is shut we are not worried because in silence we can better feel nature and God. When mist is clear at that time canvas is painted in colours.

Mist covered the stage (my life) . Characters came and went, costumes were changed, my brush hand moved side to side far from the canvas, side to side, like a windshield wiper..

The little cat is dead (so the song went) . Shall I be raised from death, the spirit asks. And the sun says yes. And the desert answers your voice is sand scattered in wind......superb the poem; speechless; congrats for Nobel Prize 2020 Literature
