neal, i see many have commented positively on this haiku- and deservedly. cool! like many i like, i think, i've seen that- why didn't i write it? thinking of this and your longer poems, it displays your verbal nimbleness. -glen
Glistening drop of rain by catching rain on its way..... wonderful preception of the poet. thank you dear poet. tony
Seamus O' Brian, Iv'e not written a haiku. Your After the shower is a great thought provoker! I was sitting in coffee shop last week during a hail storm and sunlight was shedding its beauty in each little raindrop lens caught on the outside of the window next to me. It was stunning! Your poem brought back this image for me. Bless you. Your writing is so winsome and inspiring! Kathy
Beautiful encapsulation of thought, in a well articulated piece of poetry elegantly brought forth. Thanks for sharing.
A vivid imagery, falling rain drop signifies many things and portray the flow in life.....10+++

In short, with superb illustration of rain soaked tree branches.
I, to catch that falling droplet, hold it in my hand, as if a precious gem. This Haiku, a precious gem!
Wow, the image echoes beautifully in your extension. I am pleased to share my little drop of rain, and find that it brought a moment of pleasant inspection. :)
The picture of this scene is so vividly presented, its subtleness was captured with the grace of the little rain drop. I enjoy seeing this world through your delicate perspective.
Thank you, Anne. I am doubly pleased because you have such a talent for vivid expression, so I am humbly grateful for your encouraging words.
I will return and read more of your work, Neal. I find so few truly talented writers here and I enjoy learning from them. Excellent Haiku.
Lovely haiku. Reading it brought as much pleasure as watching a raindrop fall. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Savita! I enjoy writing, but the pleasure of having someone enjoy my writing is humbling and so very satisfying. Thanks for stopping by! :)
After The Shower Seamus O' Brian, To be aware of gravity and the movement of water, for it is in the force of gravity and movement that the sun does it's beautiful work. Lovely simple poem that I can enjoy. You are an excellent poet. I have yet to write a true haiku such as this. Blessings, Kathy
