After Exile (Day 14 Demonstration)

After Exile (Day 14 Demonstration)

: : : : : : : :
Amidst massive revolution marching in the land
Let it be cleared,
General Buhari has refused to sent you a word;
His body language was written on the sword.
And again, this furore must be re-occured.
:
Say this truth to the World,
I was much alive when the revolution occured,
We were just tired of the tyrants bond,
This time ready to correct those malice with our blood.
Fully ready for the swiftly galloping war drum.
:
If we tell, gently, gently,
All that we shall one day have to tell, gently,
Who indeed will stop tormenting us gently?
What heart will listen to our clamouring?
We were just too tired of this SARS and Gen. Buhari.
:
Just as their ears were deaf to our previous appeals
When we have spoken to them with our clumsy voices;
Since they have never listened to our cries
The useless government has betrayed us three times
This time, they must follow our traces and tiles.
:
This protest is a good call
Our youths are great, I hear their call!
I hear it far away, even from my mall
I hear it break the circle of the tyrants hall
Listening, listen to our great protesters lapping call.
:
My river's calling too
Our unity has flew away in gruesome glue
Our protesters' bodies stacked in the morgue
Fela Anikulapo Kuti must come to our rescue
And sing some senses unto our useless government too.
:
...let the greying day grow
...let the evening horns blow
...let the melting mountain go
...let the SARS and other irregularities go
...but let the sundown sow.
