Midnight is probably the best part of the day for a poet when poetry can actually flow like wine from the innermost recesses of the heart. You have beautifully discussed the relation of lover and beloved, of heart and mind in this fantastic write. The poetry as a connecting thread, as a link between the souls is an undeniable fact. How your poems can connect you to fellow poets and to the past and future generations is a subject entirely engrossing n gripping. A sterling ink.10

I have literally known the region of Sauterne and the wines of the region. Never could I imagine that they could have the power to maybe help and inspire such an original poem, characterized by its sweetness and depth, very similar to the Sauterne wine but with much more lasting flavor and importance in time. Really exceptional work! Congratulations

I used to like Sauternes but it is almost impossible to find. So it has become a wine of memory! I'm glad to share its flavor with you. SWEETNESS and DEPTH - exactly the moods/qualities I wanted to convey. I thought of you when my speaker refers to HOPE, a virtue you often wrestle with in your poems.
