AFTER AGES
Again today her memory came
Again after long gap and ages.

After a long time I had thought
Her memory would not come again.

What to talk of heart it lives carrying
Past memories despite lapse of time.

What to talk of mind, it keeps gone time
Memories despite lapse of time in life.

I keep telling my heart take me away
Where no one should be there but
I find self again again in the known
path despite lapse of time.

I still remember the mighty waves dancing and
Jumping when we were together ages ago.
.
Today when my glance fell on that tree which
Used to be our confidant now totally withered.
Circumstances have made the tree look withered
Ruthlessly with the passage of time.

Today that tree stands withered lonely like
Desolate traveler in a vast desert in life.
.
Alas! whether we men, natural beauty
All are destined to die with passage of time.

I often think it is life, meeting and separation
Are part of our life like happiness and sadness.

In our life none is exempt from this process,
