KI have read and commented on this before, and now I congratulate you for Member Poem of the Day!
Very beautifully inked about the void left and sad feeling of missing someone dear.
What a wonderful poem! So many of the same emotions that I have felt during and after funerals... Things are a little different now, with the pandemic: limited number of people allowed at the funeral, no hugging, etc.
The empty feelings after a funeral, so well captured! Congrats on poem of day!
Friendship so emotional. Congrayulations being POD
this is the expression from heart core; in every feelings there exists the pure friendship; in lost the heart now crying much through the reminiscence words/// congrats for being selected as POD
The poem has a slight sense of story through narrative. Telling and connecting at the most alienating of moments.
What a beautifully crafted poem..We are with you in every word. Your talent shines.
you connect my heart right back to him Reminding me of his life And I actually laugh Actually cry.. varied emotions, relationship, deep love, death, funeral, then again life goes on. very nice poem liked it very much. tony

Very emotional and moving, capturing the grief, loss and emptiness felt when losing a special loved one.
This poem takes the breath away. A difficult topic to deal with written so eloquently and with heartfelt sensitivity. Loved its ending.
Jenny, this is a wonderful poem, and richly deserves to have been chosen as member poem of the day. Congratulations, and I will be reading more of your work!
I let it all go! ! ! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Jenny, this comes across as honest and lovely. Grieving is different for different people and friendship—just to be near and to sit with—comforting even if no words are said... Now that I’m introduced to you through this poem, I look forward to reading more of your poetry. -Glen
Thank you so much, Glen! I hope this is a positive poem for those grieving. - Jenny
