Very good poem. A true and very strong message to the world. Not only in Africa, greed has ruled the minds of too many people. I think it is a global disease. I like the rays of hope in th fourth stanza. There is indeed a strong medicine to cure the disease of greed. Nurturing good ethics, kindness, honesty, humbleness and so on. What we can achieve with this medicine as an individual may seem futile at first, but after a while we really can see the many chain reactions it triggers. Many triggered chain reactions of goodness die a spontaneous dead, but many also survive for very long and somehow if we can trigger enough chain reactions of goodness, one day greed will start to melt away. Each of us really can make a difference. Very good and thought provoking poem. Well written
