5) Recession, like the one we had in 2007 or outbreak of a pandemic like COVID may pose new problems in our career. But new relevant skills will not be ignored. That will see us through any adversities.

4) In today's world, a promising career may turn a damp squib in no time, as the skill set you have may turn redundant. So, keeping yourself abreast of all new developments is very important as is improving and acquiring skills.

Was qualified for a lecturer position. But there were few vacancies. Had to join a bank as a PO. Unlike the new gen I worked in the same bank for 37 years and retired. Now, whatever stream you study, there are chances of building a career in the same line

A most pertinent advice to the younger generation. In my times(about half a century back) there were very few opportunities. I studied physics and wanted a teaching job. Was qualified for a lecturer position. But there were few vacancies.
