i LIKE the use of stirrer in: One's own guide and stirrer Of his own destiny, - - - - - - - - - - - - - i'll assume you do not mean the British informal definition of stirrer! ! ! (see below) ha ha! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - stir·rer ˈstərər/ noun noun: stirrer; plural noun: stirrers 1 - an object or mechanical device used for stirring something. 2 - British informal a person who deliberately causes trouble between others by spreading rumors or gossip. ======================================= i 'love' this stanza: [i was just screaming earlier today! ! When one is responsible for Fruits and thorns of one's decisions, looks at that grey vacant sky And screams in pain for why me! That is when adulthood starts. - - - - - - - - - - - - and these words are fine, though i would not always agree with them all: ....................................you Are your best friend and best guide................hopefully one IS one's best friend, but has others. and, ............................................unfortunately some people fail miserably at guiding themselves, a daunting ................................................task many times. sometimes 'adults' are their own worst enemy! ! think of the ones in prison, and the ones who should be! ! ! or the ones who just 'screw up the lives' of themselves and/or others. : ( : ( ====================== a superbly-written poem to give us something to think about! OK, i'm done thinking! where is ice cream? maybe K.M. (below) meant signs of adulthood? ? ? to MyPoemList and perhaps a future showcase. bri ;)

Thanks Bri! Your comment are always interesting, funny and creative. As for stirrer- I do not like to be the one! Don't believe in rocking ships either! but when destiny puts you in a rocking ship we have no choice but to sail and hold it! Alone or with others for whatever comes. That is what this poem is all about.

adulthood, a journey to start, to move in the world, though guidance is there or not, man is alone and feeling strong. nice poem.

Adulthood is amazingly expressed here. You have rightly observed everything. When a person becomes mature, he guides himself and fixes his own destiny. Beyond the guidance of parents and teachers he does good things and takes nice decision. He accepts the challenges and proceeds ahead. Sings of adulthood comes up automatically while his performance is the best and he guides himself taking nice decision. Amazing sharing....10
