Addictive personality
So very hard to shake
Haphazard decisions
Bad choices
Mostly made
Oblivious
To normality
The obvious
Cannot be seen

Cat walking
Precariously
As you dance
The wooden plank
Smiling candidly
Honest intentions
Become obsolete
With each step
You take
Teetering
Dangerously
Self loathing takes you
Very close to the edge
Reality for you
It seems
Is merely
A trick card
Game of bridge
All honest intensions
Are now obscure
Contradictory
Inconsistent
In all you do
And say
Unaware of the heartache
Or the havoc that you wreak
Inconsistency and denial
Oppose the stability
And regularity
That you seek
Happy in your misery
Desolation
You embrace
Selfish and self centred
Thinking only of yourself
Full of self importance
Ill natured to a fault
Intolerant and dogmatic
Patience very thin
The way you speak
Of others
Is rotten to the core
Take take take
Never giving
No pride
Nor shame at all
You wear a self
Destruct button
Proudly as
Your badge
Addicted to legal highs
And illegal too
No quick fix can help you
Only you can help you
