This is a very clever and witty poem, Paige, in which everything is left up to the reader's interpretation of your beguiling words. It is excellently written and expressed from beginning to end and displays considerable poetic talent as well. Most importantly, however, it charmed and entertained whoever was fortunate enough to read this delightful poem! Carl.
For some reason this reminds me of 'I am a Walrus.' Coo-co Ka choo, baby. Super, duper great and fantastic diction - 'percolate.' It feels distant in the perspective, even though it is about yourself. This is spiffy: 'I am addictive: turn me on; hear me laugh and purr. I am titillating. I am a coffeemaker.' Fantastic use of extended metaphor. You are the coffemaker. Be the coffeemaker... You are... the coffeemaker. Now I want some coffee...thanks.
This is really cool and creative, especially if your a coffee drinker. I really don't know how you come up with this stuff but keep it cummin'.
