Hello, Nika This is such an honest and heart-felt poem it hardly needs a comment. Everything that has to be said you have already said. I noticed in your note you assured your dad you're not mad. That is exactly the sentiment I felt reading the poem. The poem is filled with sympathy and understanding. It is a quiet poem: no raised voice, no blame. This is the kind of poem that makes the writer (that is, you) stronger and hopefully your father too. And it conveyed its strength to me as a sympathetic observer looking in.
