Adam



Adam took the apple
from Eve
and eve said it was
the Snake
that made her do it

another myth
we have to swallow
another fruit
accordingly forbidden

we are punished
and you too shall be

sometimes i ask
what is the taste
of that fruit?

i have not even
tasted its pulp
or seen and touched
its skin
