Ad Astra Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Ad Astra

what eye to the firmament I
wander through from point to point
and ceaseless roving to a many world
whose inhabitants are mine
yet though I give them human form
allow them chores of mundane while
to some I give exoticness
and if wilder they that I bestow
well, could that be?
am I not after all my own limit?
my mind sees further than my eye
