Acrostic Of Your Name #6 Poem by Doris Cornago

Acrostic Of Your Name #6

Rating: 5.0

Know that from the distant past I've seen you
Coming in from the sea bearing down on
Me with a gift of sea anemones
In your hand, how fearsome
Looking, misunderstood
What you wanted
Just your
Camaraderie
Someone to listen
With me to the sound of
The sea, no sound is more
Delightful, peaceful than waves
Slashing at the sand, mighty rocks
Mocking the sky, challenging the wind
Life's changing right before our eyes, taunting

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Somewhere in our 'past' dreams, we have met and our next meeting was a rendezvous of old friends, myself of the past meeting myself in the current. Who can say if we are not predestined to meet again?

We complete ourselves with puzzle sections of another, making true the expression, you complete me.
