Amitava, this poem is filled with truths of life, how it begins, then is sustained through learning and practice through all the pain. A simple yet poignant depiction of our earthly lives and to me it felt like they were tears of joy sparkling through this difficult life in your poem. We constantly adjust throughout the years with all the odds against us, yet at times we still have hope. I can feel your strength coming through this poem, Amitava, a part of you has been revived. This is a really great acrostic which I like for it's straight forward honesty in your message. Thank you, Amitava for coming and sharing this poem with us. RoseAnnAmitava, an absolutely gentle and touching poem, beautiful depiction of a mother nourishing and loving her newborn child. Your words fill one with peace while reading this poem, an exquisite picture of how a mother's love raises a child with her heart. Life as we all experience, is not an easy game! We have to struggle and fight against rising waves looking at the far shores. What helps us to paddle on are the small interludes of joy! Great Acrostic!
