@Valsa George, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on my poem. Thanks for appreciating the 'special charm' of the poem that tells us of a transcontinental bond, with an unanswered question at the end.

There may be a happy ending, but I hope instead it becomes a happy new cable line. This touches our hearts for-sure.

I believe in happy ending, so I am thinking, they will still get in touch and who knows next- - (I seem to be very affected, funny.)

Were you 'affected', Naida? That's probably my success as a poet! Thank you for reading the poem. Much inspired by your lovely thoughts.

They conversed at leisure through submarine cables... this line is excellent. It was a prosaic poem about reality of two - which are connected trough the space, still, not deeply enough. and then what? :)

Very good observation of life. Anyway when 2 person cannot teach each other anymore, they will separate.

This trans continental bond has a rare charm and poignancy! Both being in the last quarter of their lives, when abruptly one lost contact with the other, we can possibly guess what happened! Then what? ? The question remains! ! This poem has a special charm! !
