Spring is a rebirth of lost times,
Of distant heart warming chimes,

You broke my heart with this one, Hazel, yet you mended its tatters in its closing lines. This is very good- -you invited your readers in to share your lovely Irish countryside memories. I seem to have picked up a red and white bungalow peeping from the embrace of the trees, - -and I too imagine who might live in this fairytale bungalow, You also share this great friendship which survives the Atlantic Ocean- -that is an awesome friendship! Thank you for sharing this piece of your heart..

A really heart-warming poem, with lovely description of your memories of places and friendship. A pleasant read indeed, as I myself recall memories of my own childhood and friends while reading it. True friendship, though far, always remain close to our hearts. A lovely write!

Nostalgia mingled with pangs of separation and then reunion. A breathtaking poem with an apt title, ' Across the Atlantic Ocean.'

A very vivid and beautiful way of loving a friend even though they have been separated by an ocean filled with the thoughts of what they've done already in life. Amazing visual portrait of friends whose minds still treasure and cherish their times together. Love this poem! 10+++++++++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

A beautiful poem on a long term friendship. Like two streams taking separate course, they drifted apart, but soon shall merge and flow together for sometime. There is nothing like the reunion of intimate friends! Enjoyed the poem Hazel!

Dreams may be different but every dream leads to love and friendship, two friends parted by the oceans are still lovely friends and distances are now reduced to hours. How nice and pleasant it would be when Hazel Durham meets her friend Yvonne. A beautiful description of human sentiments.

Rehydrating our parched emotions You did eventually fly away to the land of your dreams. Very nice expression indeed for renewal of friendship before parting ways in pursuit of goals in life. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
