Acceptance Poem by Dean Meredith

Acceptance

In dappled silence
The resistance begins
To their made-up world

Go out young mind
And see the forest
Learn how it works

Life is unfair
Tragedy happens
It can be beautiful

See the streams
From the decay
Wash away doubt

Yes there is carnage
But it has a natural side
Existence made good

The smell of fresh mint
A zillion stars
Moon & sun romantic

Pecking orders
Hierarchies
Competition & co-operation

The weak die
The strong survive
That's the way it is
