Abused Comments

Hi Alyssa Very heart-rending narrative. spouting the extreme pain of being abused; and anger and contempt for the perpetrator of the crime. Very very poignant. Where is an end to domestic violence against women and girl-children? Whether is within the four walls of home or outside, women are looked at differently. This attitude should come to an end. The sooner the better. I tend to compare the story narrated in the poem (Of course, there is an underlying story in it) , with the extremely pleasant, respected, happy childhood we (three brothers and one sister) had at our home. Even so, I am able to relate to the victim, because violence against women is so common in India too. Very pertinent poem. The poet Showing maturity beyond the age.10
