Its a lovely poem. I wonder though, it the symbolism of a snake and lizard are used in biblical or rather religious context or o historical? It is a very powerful allegory taht yopu have used and I like it very much and have a poem a little bit similar to yours in terms of the motif or theme of existence

well expressed the meaning of life

I see hopelessness, indifference and hidden anger in this poem.livin and doin what u do coz livin is not your choice, but mothernature gave you a small spot that u can't change but accept.it's mind crackin.makes me think of world's imperfection and injustices.i like it

Absurd, yes! 'Living not for my sake'? The ego finds 'Just living for Iam alive' The soul finds Living for just living An empty life without aim A life finds Fear of dying by the minute The ego finds If only it will seek the soul Purpose will encounter Its entire life ------ Did I solve a riddle here?
