Beautiful, It reminds me of a Sanskrit saying (actually a line from a subhashita) that reads: bubhookshitah kim na karoti paapam | It wonders: a hungry maw, oh, what evil would it not resort to!

Without action there is no escape. But even faith is an action. Who will answer the call?

Rose Marie a poem to make us stop, think and reflect on just how lucky we all all. This could be a scene set in any first world city let alone any third world abode anywhere on the so called civilised world. One day things will change for the better, but. it's one day in the future and people struggle day by agonising day, on a hand to mouth existence, in the here and now timeline. Five stars for making us think and take care.

Hunger and illness. Escape is a must. And violence is not a means. Perfection despite poverty. Brilliant haiku piece 10+
