Absence Poem by Toni Atchison

Absence

Dream of me lover,
when I'm not there
and your arms are empty
for want of me.

Think of me lover,
my lips on your skin
and your mouth is unkissed
for want of me,

Remember me lover,
while I'm far away-
the touch of my hair,
my hand on your cheek,
the scent of my skin,
when I'm not there-

think of me, lover......
