Better late than never, be assumed A youth at sixty in self, be found.
Struggle for existance had taken a toll Of adolescence and youth I recall. Without notice they came and gone Before ushering in life they were bygone.... Too late it was when it dawned That I dwelt in tiny pond, Rejecting the omnipotence of youth In my meager know how the truth. Better late than never I assumed A youth at sixty in me I have found.
RAJ NANDY I can closely relate to this poem since I am nearing seventy! You are right, as 'literary persons', with fondness for acquiring knowledge and expression, there is hardly anytime for thinking about age! Thanks, -Raj
What an excellent sequel to yesterday's 'Above Sixty' poem, Mehtaji! This poem has so much positivity and lessons of living to learn! I especially liked the following lines:  So nothing to worry about growing of an age Person can well think of it and manage World has come to our door and opened Only you gear up and have brain little sharpened  Thanks for sharing.
