Abominable Poem by Kostas Lagos

Abominable

A spectacle I cannot stand
in the mirror I see.
An if I break it to thousand pieces
a thousand times the same image
I behold.
Abominable, pathetic, miserable;
these words come
to my mind and spin around it.
Cover yourself with a cloak so black and dark
like the crow's wings
you cursed mirror!
Save us both
from a face that
leaves us in disgust.

A sad poem showing misery's reflection in the mirror.

Mirrors are very strange things.You can see your face reflecting but also you can see your soul or your emotions.Sometimes what you see is something terrible.
