Abba Voyage Poem by Mary Champion

Abba Voyage

Light illusions,
like magic
seem solid.

Another dimension
that baffles
common sense.

Shooting stars
and galaxies,
green Auroras
are all
magic mirages.

Digital avatars,
dancing vibrations -
Benny, Björn.
Agnetha, Frida,
looming larger
than life -
glittering ghosts,
intangible wraiths.

Light beams
lacerating darkness,
triangular swathes
of colour
sweep across
the arena.

Mysterious myths
seemingly materialise,
perfectly constructed
of photons.

Teasing, testing
mesmerising monument
to our
Human ingenuity.
