Joseph this is a beautiful poem. Abraham Lincoln is my favorite President.
Joseph, could this not be a cry for peace in your own divide land. T.S would have loved your spelling.
I agree with Cathleen, that this is a wonderful depiction of a very incredible man, who ws president at a time the US was in turmoil with itself. We truly do need a man like him today instead of all the politicians that want nothing more than the prestige and power our president has. Maybe out next president will be such a man. This is filled with emtion and deep feeling, and adding this as a tribute to T.S. Elliot just adds to my admiration for your talent as a writer. There is a couple of errors that I saw. In the first line you wrote lamberjack I think you meant to write lumberjack. and in the last line you have AlphaBet and I tink you meant to write AlphaBeta. Thank you for sharing this very deep piece about bravery. The images are also very nice, and very vivid. Hugs, Barbara
