Wonderful poem..................Full marks.

A poem that is a little wary of things but it has come out as a portrait of your invisible thoughts. A 10 for you Shahziaji..

Though I don't know urdu but I could grab the essence of your beautiful write.... Stopping the time by quietly holding the night let's talk something new with a new dream where night itself will be a party to me in knitting a new dream of hope...... very nice. Shazia - incidentally today is my birth day, feeling very lonely, I dedicated this poem to my loved (An angel in the night) . you may read

rawani or sadgi k sath, ek naey khush lamhay jesi, ye bhi nayi nazm hy. aapi, achi poem hy. waqt yaheen larkhara k gir jaey. raat ka aadha safar rehnay day.

Ha! having read comments by erudite readers as below, I feel incompetent to offer any comments: -) . A beautiful write Shazia. Personally (my views) the depth of emotions as expressed in urdu cannot be replicated in english since very frequently there are no equivalent words. Thanks for the post.

'Ik naey rang say waqt ko rok len, ' aur waqt ruk jai ga jab ye batein yadon mein dhal jayen gee tab shafaq ik naye tor sey muskrai gee gagan pe ek chandni si cha jai gee raton ke pchle paher band akhon ke samne kitne hi jugnoo apni chab diklaen gei I could just think of this after reading your lines. Waah. You always catch a moment in your verse I really like Nazm. They are straight forward and can go up and down with the rhythm. You really have outstanding abilities as a writing. From whatever Urdu i did understand, I enjoyed reading it thoroughly......you do need to put a glossary at the end for a few words so that we all can enjoy it even more

i tried to decipher your chaste Urdu while reading this poem, i could only reach teh perriphery of this poem, And i agree with the statement...'good poetry is appreciated before it is understood'....Let us talk :)

A VERY NICE POEM, THE THEME IS VERY SUBTLE, NOT TO MENTION THE CRAFT, THE WORDING AND THE PLAYING WITH THE LOGIC AND PHILOSOPHY IS BEYOND DESCRIPTION, I LIKE THE POEM VERY MUCH.
