you have got everything in this poem, first of all a theme that is a brilliant story...rest is in use of language..where everywhere in every poem leaves a scope of improvement, but here you have done that front brilliantly too.. love the poem...aw
U r right bri, we shud treat d afflictd extra kindly. This was a famous urdu story my mom told me dat i translatd n turnd into a poem in english. And d seven heavens r a common reference.
i sent this to MyPoemList BEFORE finishing the reading. then i finished reading. i've never done that before (the former) . i guess i don't blame the leper IF the people around him did not treat him at least courteously. it would indeed be interesting to live in the shoes of others for a while now and then. it MIGHT make some of us behave better. i guess the angels did not care to step outside of their job description. [what is the heavens O' seven? ] nice storytelling and rhyming. thanks for sharing. :)
