A Yellow Light Poem by Malik Umer Ajmal

A Yellow Light

A yellow light in my eyes,
A footway, and skies.
With the company of stars,
Thinking in inner wars.
Why am I walking alone?
Why don't I have a clone?
A clone with me,
Invisible to see,
Living near,
Without any fear.
A fear to lose
The one I choose.
But why do I need
A clone,
When I have
My own?
I say this at my peak:
Belongings
Make me weak.
Let time revive,
Find a reason to
Survive.
A yellow light in my eyes,
A footway, and skies.
With the company of stars,
Thinking in inner wars.
Am I still walking alone?
No, I have my own.
No, I have my own

A Yellow Light
