Good poem my friend, I know well the point made in this poem, If you would like, read my similar line of thought in my poem Poetic Blues
Very good, It's an enjoyable read! Well done, Adeline! Blessings! ! !
Reminds more of a pen spill...it bleed all over the paper but when it was done...it was worthy to be hung in a mueseam. Great job
Brilliant stroke of words... ted hughes' style of capturing the idea in The Thought Fox is class of its own...thx adeline... :)
What's a pen Miss Adeline? Can I find one in a museum with a typewriter? Thanks for sharing - again!
A really great poem. I understand what you are saying, however I never know when or where my words will come from. I just have to go with the flow, so I always keep pen and paper with me. Keep up the good work. Linda

One writer to another, I know what you mean...the iambic tetrameter is almost flawless...brilliant
A finely penned poem, . SO much said in so few words. Captured delightfully! Thank you for sharing!
yes and that is exactly how a good poetry is born...very well said
yes words only come in their own time and usually when its difficult to do much about it. This sums it up to perfection
oh yes - I have this problem too - half asleep - half awake - cant hold a pen & write & in the morning its flown away with the angels :) Lovely poem.
Sometimes that happens to me as well... I love the way you put this... Magnificent. -Kyrsten
something we can all relate to..wonderfully timed in rhyme
So true that words coming out of the blue with rhymes especially when we are about to rest after a all day work or chores....compressed composition but meaningful to us writers...a 10+++
Your poem is spot on. Many a time I”ve got up in the night to save my thoughts.
