A World To Your World (Part 7) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

A World To Your World (Part 7)

Rating: 5.0

To you all
Young and old
Literate and illiterate
Employed and unemployed
Theist and atheist
Lovers and defenders of truth
A word to you
To your soul
To your world
Be strong
Be courageous
Be faithful
Be hopeful
A promising ray
From over the horizon
Warm and cold-driving
Speak of a bright day
After the rain of injustice
To dry wet bodies and souls
Defreeze the frozen treasures
Be strong, courageous
Faithful and hopeful
The sirocco will blow up
The lying leaves
To reveal the hidden debris
And sweep away the dirt
Be faithful, be hopeful
A word to your world.
