A World To Your D World (Part 6) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

A World To Your D World (Part 6)

Rating: 5.0

To you men of truth
Unhonoured saints
Who knew truth
Believe truth
Accept truth
Live by it
Live not without it
And die asking for it
Whose virtue for veracity
Earns condemnation
Accusations
Frame up
Unrest
Arrest
Torture
Jail and sometimes death
But refused to bulge
To oppression
Repression and suppression
Intimidation and injustice of truth
The bone of contention
Soar like eagle
Beyond touch
Though persist sacrificial lamb
And scapegoats
Desirous in flavor of truth
Hear me and hear me well
